At an election held at the Eagle Hotel in the town of DeKalb and State of Illinois on the 7th day of April A.D. 1863. The following named persons received the number of votes annexed to their respective names for the following offices. “to wit”

Harvey Thompson received one hundred and ninety eight votes for Supervisor

Joseph Glidden received one hundred and forty eight votes for Supervisor

Thos. T. Roberts received two hundred votes for Clerk of the Town

Wilson Love received one hundred and forty eight votes for Clerk of the Town

George W. Lyon received two hundred votes for Assessor

Henry Hopkins received one hundred and forty five votes for Assessor

Jerome Root received one hundred and ninety votes for Collector

Orlando Carter received one hundred and fifty one votes for Collector

George Clark received two hundred votes for Commissioner
