Notice of Town meeting

Annual Town Meeting

Notice is hereby given:

To the citizens legal voters of the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb and state of Illinois that the annual town meeting for said town will be held at the Eagle Hotel in said town on Tuesday the seventh day of April next being the first Tuesday in said month for the purpose following viz

First, to choose a Moderator to preside at said two commissioners of highways, twenty thee overseers of highways, and as many pound masters as the electors may determine.

Third, to vote for having a pound built and fix its locality.

And to act upon any additional subjects which may in pursuance of law come before said meeting when convened.

Which meeting will be called to order between the hours of mine and ten o’clock in the afternoon.

Given under my hand at DeKalb this 19th day of March A.D. 1868.
