George Harrison had forty seven votes for Assessor

C. L. Barber had fifty three votes for Commissioner of Highway

G. E. Wolcott had fifty four votes for Commissioner of Highway

L. S. Hoitt (Hoyt) had forty two votes for Commissioner of Highway

J. B. Collier had forty nine votes for Constable

A. H. Barnes had fifty five votes for Constable

J. B. Collier had forty two votes for Collector

A. H. Barnes had twelve votes for Collector

We hereby certify that the above is a correct proceeding of a town meeting held at the house of Charles Knight on the 3 day of April 1855

Preamble

Voted to raise $60 dollars to assist in building a bridge across the Kishwaukee creek on the road running on the town line between 39 & 40 range 4 voted to raze $60 dollars to assist in building a bridge across the Kishwaukee Creek on the line running between M. H. Dimick and Russel Huntley.

Votes that there be a fine of $5 dollars be imposed upon any person that lets any hog or sheep run at large.  Votes that there be a fine of $5 dollars imposed on any person that allows bull or bulls to roam at large from the middle of April to the first of October.
