Minutes of Annual Town Meeting

Caslers Hall Apr 3rd 1877

At the annual town meeting held in the town of South Grove county of DeKalb and state of Illinois in Caslers Hall on the third day of April AD 1877 the meeting was called to order by Clerk. F. W. Howe was chosen moderator who after being duly sworn entered upon the duties of his office.

The polls for the elections of officers were opened proclamation being first made by the clerk at twelve oclock. On motion the polls were closed for one hour at one oclock meeting called to order and polls open the hour of two having arrived the general business of the day being now in order.

The following named persons were elected by yeas and nays overseers of highways for the ensuing year in the following road district.

Motion That we except of M. Caslers proposition to have the use of his hall on the same terms & conditions as last year
