At the annual town Meeting held at Casler’s Hall in the town of South Grove, County of DeKalb and State of Illinois on the Fourth day of April A. D. 1882.

J. S. Shaver was chosen Moderator after being being [sic] duly sworn entered upon the duties of his office. The polls were there opened proclamation thereof being made.

At Two o’clock the miscellaneous business of the day was taken up.

Motion That the Roads be worked by Commissioners

Carried

That Two Hundred ($200) be raised to defray the incidental expenses of the Town for the ensueing [sic] year. Carried

That the Supervisor pay the ballance [sic] of dog fund amounting to Eighty one & 11/100 dollars to the Treasurer of Commissioners for road and bridge purposes. Carried

The following is a statement of the result of a canvass of the votes cast by ballot for the Election of Officers
