On motion of Mr. Becker the Town Meeting be held at School District No. 1 Carried

On motion of A. C. Thompson, there be $150 raised to defray town expenses Carried

On motion of Mr. Wm. M. Byers there be an amendment of $50 added to the above motion of A. C. Thompson Carried

On motion of Mr. A. C. Thompson there be forty cents on each one hundred dollars raised for Highway Road Labor Lost

On motion of Mr. R. Becker there be thirty cents on each one hundred dollars raised for Road labor Carried

On motion of Mr. James Gibson there be fifty dollars raised to be applied on the Bridge by Thomas Nedcotts Lost

On motion of Mr. Wm. M Byers there be twenty five dollars raised to be applied on a Bridge near Thomas Nedcott Carried

The following is a statement of the result of the canvass of votes by ballot for the election of Officers at the annual Town Meeting in the town of South Grove in the County of DeKalb, State of Illinois, A.D. 1866 as publicly canvassed by the presiding Officers of said Meeting.

James Byers had Seventy three votes for Supervisor

A C Thompson had Twenty one votes for Supervisor

Edward P. Safford had Sixty five votes for Town Clerk

Jack W. Howe had Thirty two votes for Town Clerk

Henry Cristman had Ninety nine votes for Assessor
