Special Town Meeting

Special Town meeting held at the School House in Dist. No 2 on the 5th Day of August A.D. 1870

For the purpose of voting aid to the Rail Road

The meeting was called to order By W. G. Chamberlin

Town Clerk

Benj. Worden of motion of H. Updyke was Duly Chosen to preside as moderator of said meeting. Who being first duly sworn by W. G. Chamberlin Town Clerk of Said Town Entered upon the duties of his office.

On Motion

At noon the Polls were closed for one hour

At one half Past one oclock the Polls were opened pursuant to adjournment

At six oclock the Polls were closed and the votes canvassed

Whole number of Votes Polled 116
