Annual Town Meeting

Held at the Town Hall in the Township of South Grove on the 2nd day of April 1912.

W. R. Adee appointed Moderator reports of Supervisor and Commissioners of Highway [sic] read and approved.

Motion made and carried that a tax of 500.00 [sic] be raised for Town purposes, Motion carried.  Motion made and seconed [sic] that the Supervisor be authorised [sic] to purchase seats and table for the Town Hall:  Motion made and seconed [sic] that Maurice Casey be appointed Thistle Commissioner:  Motion carried

The following is the result of a canvass of the ballots

Orton Bell received fifteen votes for

for Supervisor

W. G. McKenzie received fifteen votes

for Town Clerk

W. R. Adee received fifteen votes

for Assessor

Will Thompson received fifteen votes

for Collector

Wm. H. Quinn received fifteen votes

for Commissioner of Highways

R. B. Byers received fifteen votes for Trustee of Schools

H. H. Birchfield received fifteen votes

for Constable

J. A. Dooley received fifteen votes

for Justice of the Peace
