After several special meetings and consulting several people, C. G. McKenzie and F. H. McQueen secured Harry Gustafson as Assessor to finish the term of L. W. Holmes who resigned.

Spring Auditing Meeting March 25, 1952

The meeting was called to order at the Town Hall at 1:30 P. M. Those present were C. G. McKenzie, F. H. McQueen, and George Jorgensen. All bills presented were ordered paid. The proposed budget for the coming year was discussed and approved.There being no further business, the Meeting adjourned.

Annual Town Meeting April 1, 1952

George Jorgensen was chosen as Moderator and at 1:00 P. M. said Moderator called a meeting for the hearing on the proposed budget.

At 2:00 P. M. the Town Meeting was called to order. Motion was made and seconded that the proposed budget be accepted. The Supervisor’s report was read and approved showing receipts of $3118.79, disbursements of $1998.74, and a balance of $1120.05. Report of the Highway Commissioner was read and approved showing receipts of $16,061.58, expenditures of $12,946.73 and a balance on hand of $3114.85.

Motion was made and seconded that the Town Tax levy be accepted, the necessary amount of the tax being $1650.00.

There being no further business, meeting adjourned.
