Jan 24 – 05 Meeting of Mayfield & So Grove Comrs.

Jan 15 – 05 Town Clerk instructed to go to Sycamore with records to lawyer to inspect in regard to new road South of Clare.

Mar 4 – 05 Atspl [special] meeting of Comms for the purpose of arranging for County aid, on bridge west of Clare, District 23. Petition made for County Aid. H Decker apptd to go to Chgo to inspect oak plank for road purposes.Adjourned.

Mar 14 At joint meeting of Highway Comrs and Committee of 3 supervisor Whittemore, Jordan, and Haight, which committee was appointed by Chairman of Board of Supervisor, Wime (?), for the purpose of getting county aid for new iron bridge over Owens creek in Sec 23.

J JGlaweapptd [appointed] chairman, Town Clerk present.

Site for proposed bridge visited by Comrs& Committee and adjourned to Town Clerks office.

Motion made and seconded that plans be submitted be adopted. Carried.

Motion made & seconded that contract be let to Continental Bridge Co of Chgo being the lowest bidder. Carried.
