At spl meeting of Highway Comr’s of the Towns of So Grove, Mayfield, Malta & DeKalb held at the offices of Town Clerk of So Grove at 2 pm in compliance with petition of Sept 21st – 05 now on file in this office and Highway notice on Oct 5th 1905. All Comr’s being present. J JGlawe appointed chairman, J A Dooley secretary.

Motion made by J S Wilkinson that road be opened according to petition, motion seconded by J F Masterson. Motion Carried.

The said Comr’s having set their hands to an order the original of which is on file in this office. Motion made that meeting be adjourned to meet again at DeKalb at the call of the Chairman. Motion carried.

At adjourned meeting of Comr’s of the four towns of So Grove, Mayfield, Malta, DeKalb held at Town Clerks office at DeKalb Mon Oct 30 - 05. Meeting called to order by Chairman Glawe. All Comr’s being present.

Minutes of last meeting read by Clerk. Motion made & seconded minutes of last meeting be accepted. Same carried. Motion on Plat of Survey read by Clerk.

Motion made & seconded that plat be accepted.

“ “ “ “ price of land be not over $125.00 per acre. Motion carried.

Mr. A Ashelfords price asked $1000.00 which included price of land and damages included (?),

Mr. Redmonds price $200.00 per acre.

Mr. Zellar price $200.00 per acre.

Motion made and seconded that land for road in question be condemned. Same carried and so ordered.

Motion made & seconded to leave matter of condemnation proceedings in hands of Mr. S A Bradt with instructions to engage Jas Cliffe&A G Kennedy to proceed.

Motion to adjourn at call of chairman. Carried
