Town Records of DeKalb Ill Estray 1, 1856
Came into my in closure on the 8th of December 1856.
One small red yearling steer with white on the tail. One red heifer calf. Also one red & white bull calf with crop off the right ear.

Taken up as an estray by the subscriber at his fam in DeKalb, DeKalb County on the 19th day of December A.D. 1856 two cows one a pale red with a white spot in the forehead and some white on the sides and flank and one other a bright red color about five years old which I intend to have appraised according to law in such cases made and provided.
