At a town meeting held at the Eagle Hotel in the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb and state of Illinois on the 7th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight the following votes by ballots were given vez:

Joseph F. Glidden received one hundred and seventy eight (178) votes for Supervisor

Thos. Dodge received one hundred and sixty seven (167) votes for Supervisor

T. Richardson received one vote for Supervisor

Thos. T. Roberts received two hundred and five (205) votes for town clerk

Horace Griffith received 137 votes for town clerk
