Taken up as estrays two three year old colts one of an iron gray colour and the other a brown colour with three white feet and a scar on the hip.

Taken up as an estray by the subscriber at or near his place of residence on in DeKalb , DeKalb  Co. on the 24th day of September 1867. One large white sow with no brand or marks discoverable, which I intend to have appraised according to law in such cases made and provided the same shaving broken into my enclosure.
