Taken up by the subscriber on the 28th day of November A.D. 1867 at his residence in the town of DeKalb, County of DeKalb, State of Illinois a light sorrel mare about three years old with white in the face and on at the time a saddle and bridle.

Taken up as estrays seven head of battle y the subscriber living in the town of DeKalb, county of DeKalb, State of Illinois, as follows one yearly bull dark color with some white hairs mixed, one year last spring, one spring calf steer, red and white calf mostly white, one spring calf steer, white and red mostly white, ears cut off for frozen off, one spring calf steer brindle color star in the forehead, some white one the legs and belly, one spring calf heifer, red and white speckled, mostly red, one spring calf heifer white poor and small which I intend to have apprised as the statute in such cases made and provided.
