Town Records of DeKalb Ill
Road district No. 2 bounded as follows: commencing eighty rods west of section line between two and three on the Chicago and Gran Detour state road thence westerly to the west line of the town of DeKalb also commencing on the north line of said town on section line between three & four township (40) forty range four (4) thence south on survey line one mile.

Road district No. 3 bounded as follows: commencing north on the Chicago and Gran Detour state road near Coltonville thence southerly on the road on the west side of Union Grove (nearest the lumber) to where it intersects the road running from DeKalb Centre to F. Loves also commencing on said road at the corners between John Whitemans and Clark L. Barbers thence easterly on said road to the centre of Kishwaukie [Kishwaukee] creek.

Hopkins also commencing at the corners near Wm. R. Thompsons thence east to the town line also commencing at the slough bridge between F. Loves and Thos. M. Hopkins thence east to the town line also commencing at the corners near F. Loves running westerly to the centre of Kishwaukie [Kishwaukee] creek.
