At an election held at the Eagle Hotel in the town of DeKalb in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois on the 1st day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty two the following named persons received the number of votes annexed to their respective names for the following described offices to wit.

Joseph F. Glidden received three hundred and fifty one for Supervisor

Thos. T. Roberts received three hundred and fifty six for Town Clerk

E. B. Gilbert received three hundred and thirty votes for Justice of the Peace

Silas Tappan received three hundred and thirty four votes for Justice of the Peace

Timothy Richardson received thirty votes for Justice of the Peace

Jerome Root received one hundred and eighty one votes for an Assessor

Henry Hopkins received one hundred and seventy three votes for an Assessor

A.Townsend received three hundred and fifty votes for Collector

John H Burghardt received four votes for Collector

Wm. Fuller received two hundred and sixty six votes for Commissioner of highway
