Baumgadner, Silas T. Needham and others did on the 23 day of July inst. cause a survey to be made of the above described route being the same route mentioned in said petition and the undersigned being of opinion that it is necessary and proper that such road be laid out it is therefore ordered that a road four rods wide be located and laid out and the same is located and laid out according to the above survey and the same is hereby declared to be a publick highway.

The undersigned commissioners of highways for the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb on the petition of Levi C. Barber, B. H. Shurburne, Lyman Barber, John Whiteman, Silas T. Needham, Carlos Clark, Johnathan Lyon, Orson Lyon, A. Fay, William Hamilton, Joseph Richardson, Roswell Brown, J. H. Burghardt, did on the 28th day of October inst. cause a survey to be made of the following route to wit; (Being the same route mentioned in said petition) beginning at a stake in the centre of the road leading from DeKalb Centre in said town to Brush Point, 80 rods south of the centre or half section line of section 14 in said town and running from thence south 83 degrees west 210 rods to the middle of the south half of said sect 14 thence north 37 degrees west 27 rods thence south 86 degrees west 162 rods to the centre of the road running north and south near the dwelling house of Orson Lyons and the undersigned being of opinion that it is necessary and proper that such road be laid out it is therefore ordered that a road four rods wide be located and laid out and the same is located and laid out according to said survey and the same is hereby declared to be a publick highway.
