Record of alteration of the road running on the west side of Union Grove on application of Wm. Hubbard;
The undersigned commissioners of highways for the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb on the petition of William Hubbard, Arunah Clark, Carlos Clark, H. C. Shurburne, Calvin S. Colton, Arson Lyon, George Raynard, Silas T. Needham, Clark L. Barber, Wm. L. Hamilton, Jonathan Lyon, Timothy Richardson, who are legal voters of said town, did on the third day of April inst. cause a survey to be made of the following route to wit; commencing two rods and two links east of George Flinns board fence opposite his dwelling house, thence northerly to a stake two rods east of Wm. Hubbard board fence a little north of his dwelling house thence north-easterly in the direction of a cottonwood tree standing in front of Robert Thompsons dwelling house to the centre of the road running from Calvin S. Coltons to George Flinns, being the same route mentioned in said petition which survey is as follows to wit; Beginning at a point in the centre of the road running from DeKalb Centre to Brush Point opposite the dwelling house of
