George Flinns and running north 27° east 83 rods 15 links to a stake nearly opposite Wm. Hubbards house thence north 45° east 74 rods until it strikes the aforesaid Brush Point road near the house of Calvin S. Colton.
And the undersigned being of opinion that it is necessary and proper that such alteration be made it is therefore ordered that a road four rods wide be located and laid out and the same is located and laid out according to said survey and the same is hereby declared to be a publick highway.

Road District No. one bounded as follows commencing east of town line on the Chicago and Gran Detour state road thence on said road westerly eighty rods west of section line between two and three on said road, also commencing north on town line on the Coltonville and Brush Point road thence southerly to the Chicago and Gran Detour state road, thence southerly on Coltonville and Brush Point road to the corner near Wm. R. Thompsons

You are required to have each of the above named persons who are not by law exempt from poll tax, to preform three days labor as poll tax and twenty cents on each one hundred dollars worth of land as valued in the assessment of 1851 as property tax on same pubick [public] road in the within named road district where it is most required three fourth of the labor
