Town Records of DeKalb Ill

Road District No. 4 bounded as follows commencing at the corners of F. Loves thence northerly to the Chicago and Grand Detour state road

You are required to have each of the above named persons who are not by law exempt from poll tax, to preform three days labor as poll tax, and twenty cents on each one hundred dollars worth of land as valued in the assessment of 1851 as property tax on some publick [public] road in the within named road district where it is most required three fourths of the labor assessed to be done by the first of October 1852.

If any names are omitted the Overseer will insert them.

Road District No. 5 bounded as follows commencing at the corners of roads near Wm. R. Thompsons thence southerly via F. Loves to the town line near Tho. M. Hopkins also commencing at the corners near Wm. R. Thompsons thence east to the town line also commencing at the slough bridge between F. Loves and Tho M. Hopkins thence east to the town line also commencing at the corners near F. Loves running westerly to the centre of Kishwaukie [Kishwaukee] creek.
