Town Records of DeKalb Ill

You are required to have each of the within named persons who are not by law exempt from poll tax, to preform three days labor as poll tax and twenty cents on each one hundred dollars worth of land as valued in the assessment of 1851 as property tax, on some publick [public] road in the within named road district where it is most required three fourths of the labor assessed to be done by the first of October 1852.  If any names are omitted the overseers will insert them.

Given under our hands and seals this 30th day of April 1852.
