Town Records of DeKalb Ill

Road District No. 7 bounded as follows commencing at the corners of roads between John Whitemans and Clark L. Barbers thence westerly to the North East corner of section sixteen township forty range four also commencing on the S.E. and the S. W. corners of sections three and four township forty range four thence south on survey line to where it intersects the Phelps road near Joseph Gliddens also commencing at the North East corner of the school section thence west to the township line.

You are required to have each of the above named persons who are not by law exempt from poll tax, to preform three days labor as poll tax and twenty cents on each one hundred dollars worth of land as valued in the assessment of 1851 as property tax on some publick road in the within named road district where it is most required three fourths of the labor assessed to be done by the first of October 1852.  If any names are omitted the overseer will insert them.
