Know all men by these present that we E. B. Hulett of the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb and state of Illinois as principal and William Fuller of the county and state aforesaid as surety are held and firmly bound unto Joseph F Glidden Esq. Supervisor of the town of DeKalb, aforesaid, and to his successors in office in the penal sum of four hundred dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs executions and administration jointly securely and firmly by these present.
Signed with our hands and sealed with our seals this 10th day of April 1966.
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bounded E. B. Hulett was on the 10th day of April 1866 duly chosen Treasurer of the board of Commissioner of Highways of the said town of DeKalb for the current year has accepted the office and is about to enter upon the performance of its duties.
Now therefore if the said E. B. Hulett shall faithfully discharge his duties as such Treasurer and shall honestly and faithfully account for and pay over upon the order of the Commissioners of Highways of said town, all money that shall come into his hands by virtue of his said office then the above obligation to be void; otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
