At an election at the house of Solomon Price in DeKalb in DeKalb County state of Illinois on the 8th day of November the year of our Lord 1855 the following named person received the number of votes annexed to their respective names for the following officers,

Roswell Love had seventy two votes for County Treasurer

Horris W. Fay had sixth eight votes for Surveyor

E. B. Gilbert had sixty eight votes for School Commissioner

Daniel W. Hamilton had one vote for County Surveyor

Jacob Crosset had three votes for School Commissioner

George Smith & Co. had one vote for County Treasurer

John Vanderick had one vote for Surveyor

Elder Carney had one vote for School Commissioner
