At an election held at the DeKalb Exchanges Hotel in the town of DeKalb county of DeKalb and State of Illinois on the sixth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five, the following votes were given viz

For Bounty tax received seventy eight votes

Against Bounty tax received four votes

Against Tax received two votes

No Tax received three votes

For Tax received four votes
