Minutes of the Annual Town Meeting

At the annual Town Meeting held at Castler’s [Casler’s] Hall in the aforesaid Town and County on the first (1st) day of April A. D. 1873
The meeting was called to order by M D Patten, Town Clerk of said town. By motion of Ed Becker, W F Howe chosen preside as Moderator who being first duly sworn by M D Patten, Town Clerk of said Town entered upon the duties of his office.
The Pools [Polls] for the ellection [sic] of officers were opened proclamation thereof being made by Clerk
The hour of Twooclock [sic] having arrived the Pools [sic] closed and the usual misselaneous [sic] business was performed
Motion – That we suspend the office of Path Master – (Lost)
Motion – That we proceed to ellect [sic] Path Masters for the several districts (Carried)
On motion the following named gentlemen were ellected [sic]overseers

Motion by Wm. M Byers, that we raise 200.00 Dollars to defray the incidental expences [sic] of the Town the ensuing year – (Carried)
