At a meeting of the Commissioners of Highways of Township forty one in the County of DeKalb at the Bridge in said Town on the 8th day of June all the said Commissioners having met and deliberated on the subject embrased in this order it is ordered and determined by the said Commissioners upon the Application and by the consent of William P. Deyoe, Warren H. Stebins, Andrew Chapman and Peter M. Deyoe through whose land the alteration herein after described is to be made that the Chicago and Oregon State Road leading from the bridge on the west side of the Grove to the County line be altered according to the following survey which the Commissions have caused to be made theirof as follows to wit the centre line of the alteration is to begin at centre of the present Highway at the west side of the bridge across the stream near Barnabus Hatches and to run thence west 2 N 173 R west 14 N 190 R west 6 N one mile 156 R west 10 N one mile 63 R to the west line of the County intersecting the Original State Road and that the said alteration be of the width of the one hundard [hundred] feet.

In witness whereof the Commissioners of Highways of said Town have hereto subscribed their names this fifth day of July AD 1850
