I, W. G. McKenzie, Town Clerk of the Town of South Grove hereby certify that the highway commissioners of said Town have certified to me in accordance with a vote duly taken at the annual Town meeting in said Town on the 5th day of April A. D. 1910, that a special tax of Fifty cents for each year of a period of three years namely for the years 1910 – 1911 – and 1912 and hereby is levied on each One Hundred Dollars assessed valuation of all taxable property including Railroads in Said Township for the purpose of constructing and maintaining two rockgravel, rock, macadam or other hard roads in said Town to be located as follows
1st that portion of the Public Highway commencing at the intersection of the North and South roats [sic] on the East Side of Section Twenty four (24) in the Village of Clare, Township of South Grove, DeKalb County Illinois, then westerd [sic] through section twenty-four and part of Section twenty-three to the intersection of the North & South [continued on next page]
