Whereas complaint has been made to the commissioners of the highways of the Township of South Grove in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, by Mark S. Goodrich and Jerry Shaver that a public highway to wit: Stickney Street and Van Horn Street in Van Horn’s Addition to Esmond in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, had been obstructed by William H. Ashelford, and whereas said commissioners have mad [sic] investigation and ascertained that said highways have been obstructed by the said William H. Ashelford, now therefor [sic] Be it resolved that the commissioners of highways of said town give due notice in writing to the said William H. Ashelford to remove said obstruction from said highways and and [sic] requiring the said William H. Ashelford to remove said obstructions within three days from date of this service of such notice.
