Special Road Meeting held at the East End of the proposed road, on the East side of Section 36, Township 41, Range 3, heretofore petitioned for in pursuance of an order of the Commissioners of Highways passed at their meeting held on September, 5th, 1911.
Present. W. H. Quinn and Henry Decker, Commissioners; W. G. McKenzie, Town Clerk; George Ashelford, Mrs. Abe Ashelford and Philip Ryan, land owners along the line of the proposed road.
It appearing that notice of the meeting had been duly given by the Town Clerk by posting five notices in five of the most public places in the Township in the vicinity of the proposed road, to-wit; one on corner near the Gibson School house; one on the Corner near the residence of B. J. Worden; one near Ole Hall’s residence; and one on corner north of the East End of the proposed road; and one at End of the road leading to Robert Willis’s farm, at least ten days prior to this meeting, to-wit on the 13th day of September 1911;
And the Commissioners having examined the route of the proposed road, and having heard the arguments for and against the laying out of said road; did thereupon refuse to grant the prayer of said petition
And it appearing that said petition was signed by more than 12 land owners in said Township;
Said Commissioners did thereupon refuse the prayer of said petition, and endorsed their decision on said [continued on next page]
