Commissioners Meeting

A meeting of Commissioners of Highways the following Petitions were presented

Town of South Grove

To the Commissioners of Highways of the town of South Grove in the county of DeKalb and State of Illinois

The undersigned freeholders, residing within two miles of the route hereinafter mentioned and described for a Road, do hereby petition you to lay out a new Road of the width of 66 feet as follows:

Commencing at the ½ sec. line of sec. 16 and sec. 21 in the said Town and running from thence in an Easterly direction on the most eligible route to the ½ sec line of sec 15 and sec 22.

The names of the owners of the land over which the same is to pass are J. S. Shaver, W. K. Adee, J. T. Becker

And your petitioners pray that you will proceed to lay out said Road and cause the same to be opened according to law.
