The following is a statement of the result of the canvass of votes by ballot for the selection of officers at the Annual Town Meeting in the Town of South Grove, County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, A. D. 1867 as publicly canvassed by the presiding officer at said Meeting.

For Town Clerk

George Hutcheson received one hundred & thirty three votes

For Assessor

F. W. Howe had one hundred & thirty two votes 132

For Collector

James Gibson had one hundred & thirty four votes 134

For Commissioner of Highways
