It is also ordered at the same meeting that Whereas a road was laid out on the fourth day of September A. D. 1853 by J. G. Mason and Phineas Crandall Commissioners of Highways of the Town of South Grove in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois on the application of the requisite number of legal voters, residing within three miles of said road, as follows: Commencing on the section line between sections twenty nine (29) and thirty (30) on the quarter section line of Section twenty nine (29) and running thence East one half mile terminating at the Centre [sic] of Section twenty nine (29) and We the Commissioners of Highways do hereby order that said road be attached to, and become, apart [sic] of road district No. 12, In witness whereof, We have hereunto set our hands this 18th day of April A. D. 1868
