its [limits] of said Township We therefore the said Commissioners having duly viewed the said line over which the said road is intended to be laid out, and in comformity [conformance] with the laws prescribed in such cases have obtained a survey plat of the lands before mentioned together with a delineation of the said Road from a competent surveyor, do mutually approve of the said memorial and agree that the said road is in every respect essential to the convenience of the general public and in accordance with the authority vested in us, as such commissioners by the statutes in such cases made and provided we constitute, establish, confirm and ratify the aforesaid line, so delineated and described in the said plat or map as a Highway within the Township aforesaid in the said County

We the undersigned Supervisors of the Towns of Kingston Mayfield and Sycamore, having met at the house of Jonathan Adee in the Town of South Grove in relation to laying out and assessing damages on a certain road as laid out by said Commissioners in said Town commencing at a point on the State road, Three chains & sixty six links East of a Hickory tree standing in the centre [center] of Said State Road and running Southerly through lands owned by said Adee to the south line of said Town said order being dated the 18th day of July 1854 and filed in the Clerks [Clerk’s] office of said Town Nov 3rd 1854. After hearing the proofs and allegations of the parties, we order that the decision of said Commissioners in relation to laying out said road be confirmed and in relation to the assessment of damages sustained by said Adee in laying out said road be increased from seventy two Dollars the amount allowed by said Commissioners to the amount
