Auditors Meeting

Esmond Ill September 7, 1915

 

Auditors meeting held at the office of the Town Clerk in Esmond Ill Sep 7, 1916

 

There being present Orton Bell, Supervisor J. A. Dooley, Assessor, Wm. H. Mason Justice of the Peace, Thos Rich, Geo Coffey, and K. R H. McKenzie, Highway Commissioners, and W. G. McKenzie Town Clerk.

 

The bills against the town were audited and orders issued in payment as per record on file.

 

The board of Highway Commissioners certified that they have determined that the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation for the year A. D. 1916 for the proper construction, maintenance and repair of roads and bridges in the Town of South Grove, will amount to Five Thousand Dollars be levied against all the taxable property of said Town as assessed for the year A. D. 1916.

 

And We do hereby further certify that damages have been agreed upon for laying out roads to the amount of One hundred sixty ($160.00) Dollars

 

Total amount of aforesaid levies being Five Thousand One Hundred Sixty ($5,160.00) Dollars
