There having been presented to the Commissioners of Highways of the Town of South Grove a petition as follows

To the commissioners of Highways of the Town of South Grove, being Township Forty-one – (41) North, Range Three (3) East of the 3rd P. M. in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois:

The undersigned, being not less than Twelve land owners residing in said Town of South Grove within two miles of the road, hereinafter mentioned and described do hereby petition to [blank] all of said road described as follows:

Commencing on the east line of Section 36 in said Township at a point one hundred sixty (160) rods north from the south-east corner of said Section (36) and thence west through the center of Section 36 and through the center of the East Half (1/4) of Section 35 to the middle of said Section 35, all in Township Forty-one (41) North, Range Three (3) East of the 3rd P. M. DeKalb Illinois the center line of said road is a distance of one hundred sixty (160) rods north from the South line of said Sections 35 and 36 in said Township.

And your petitioners therefore pray that you will proceed according to law to cause said road to be vacated, and petitioners pray that you vacate said road
