Auditor’s Meeting                Sept. 7, 1920

 

Auditors meeting was held in Esmond State Bank.Bills were presented, audited and ordered paid for which orders were issued as per record on file.

 

“I hereby further certify that I have determined that the rate of tax necessary to be raised upon all the taxable property of said town shall be Sixty-six cents upon each One Hundred Dollars valuation as assessed for the year A. D. 1920, and that the amount of money to be raised by taxation for the year A. D. 1920, for the proper construction, maintenance and repair of roads and bridges in the Town of South Grove aforesaid, will amount to the sum of Eight Thousand One Hundred Dollars to be levied against all the taxable property of said Town as assessed for the year A. D. 1920.

Jos. Quinn was appointed assessor for the term of two years to fill vacency (sic).
