Special Bridge Meeting of Supervisors + Highway Officials

A meeting of the special Bridge Committee of the Board of Supervisors + Highway Officials of the Township of South Grove was held in the office of the Co. Supervisor of Highways on Oct. 16, 1920, for the purpose of considering the proposals for the construction of the Huber Bridge in Section 35, South Grove township (sic).  There were present E. B. Safford, J. J. Kingsley of the Special Bridge Comm., Geo Barnes, Highway Comm. Of South Grove twsp. (sic) and Frank Barnes, Town Clerk of South Grove.

At 10 o’clock the meeting was called to order and the several proposals publicly (sic) opened and announced by Mr. Barnes, said proposals being as follows

After considering the proposals it was moved by Mr. Safford and seconded by Mr. Kingsley that the contract be awarded to F. A. Larson, the lowest bidder, and that the matter of the approval of the bond be left with the Co. Supt. Of Highways, all voting for the motion, it was declared carried.

On motion the meeting was adjourned.
