Spring Auditing Meeting, March 30, 1937
The semiannual auditing meeting was called to order by the Supervisor, C. G. McKenzie, at the Town Hall at 2. P. M. All bills presented were ordered paid.
The Supervisors (sic) report was read and approved. the (sic) statement showed annual receipts from General Funds $2302.99. Total Expenses $1289.77. Balance on hand $1013.22.
The Township Treasurers report was read + approved. it (sic) showed a total receipt of General funds $3650.98. General fund expenses $3572.60. Hard road fund receipts $2949.92. Hard road expenses $2944.56, leaving a combined total balance on hand of $83.74.
The Highway Comm report as above was read + approved.
Moved to adjourn.

April 6, 1937. Township election and Town Meeting
The Town Meeting was called to order by C. G. McKenzie. A motion was made + seconded that Chas. Reimsnider act as moderator. Motion carried.
The Supervisors report and the Highway Comm. report was each read, + approved.
A motion was made by Floyd Welty that the Township tax be raised to cover the Highway entire amount of the Highway Commissioners wages, as recently required by law. Motion seconded + carried.
The necessary amount of tax required was determined to be $1650.00, to be porportioned [proportioned] as follows. Contingent expenses incurred for the use + benefit of the town. $50.00. Election expenses $25.00. Fees and compensations of Town Officers $1575.00.
Motion made + carried to adjourn.
A canvass of the election ballots showed the following results.
Supervisor. C. G. McKenzie elected
Town Clerk. Frank Barnes elected
Assessor. Delos Welty elected
Justice of Peace. L. A. Totman elected
School Trustee. Floyd Welty elected
Constable Wm. Pollard elected
Special Road Tax received 19 votes for and 51 against it.
