After considering the request, it was moved and seconded that the Board of Auditors consent to said commissioner levying an additional rate of 4% on the full fair cash value of the taxable property of said Town, making a total rate of 16½% for road and bridge purposes for the year 1958 and that the amount of such additional tax be $1400.00. Meeting adjourned.

Spring Auditing Meeting
The meeting was called to order at the home of the Town Clerk at 2:00 P.M. those present were Hugh McQueen, Walter Beydler and F. H. McQueen. (Due to the death of George Jorgensen in November, 1958, Walter Beydler was appointed Highway Commissioner to serve the balance of the term.) All bills presented were ordered paid. The proposed budget for the coming year was discussed. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

Annual Town Meeting April 7, 1959
George Tindall was chosen Moderator. At 1:00 P.M. said Moderator called a meeting for a hearing on the proposed budget.
At 2:00 P.M. the Town Meeting was called to order. Motion made by Floyd Welty and seconded by Walter Beydler that the proposed budget be accepted. Reports of the Supervisor and Highway Commissioner were read and approved. Motion made by Elmer Erickson and seconded by Floyd Welty that the Town Tax levy be accepted, the necessary amount being $3000.00. Motion made and seconded that the wages of the five Judges for Township election be raised from $7.00 to $10.00 per day. Meeting adjourned.
