accepted by the group as was also the road and bridge budget. All road bills and Town bills presented were audited and paid. Meeting adjourned.

Annual Town Meeting April 1, 1969
Chas. Riemsnider was chosen Moderator and at 1:00 P. M. said Moderator called a meeting for a hearing on the proposed Road and Bridge budget. Moved by George Lattimer and seconded by Russell Berg that the Town accept same. Carried with 6 votes. Then the proposed Town budget was presented. Moved by George Latimer and seconded by Walter Beydler to accept same. Carried with 7 votes. At 2:00 PM the Town Meeting was called to order. There were 8 present. The Highway Commissioner’s report, the Supervisor’s report and the General Assistance report were all read and approved with 7 aye votes. The Annual Town Tax levy was for $5500 with no General Assistance levy.
It was moved by George Tindall and seconded by Walter Beydler that the salary of the Auditors be raised to $10.00 per meeting, that the judges of Town elections be raised to $20.00 per day and that the Assessor’s salary be raised $150.00 per year, making it $800.00. Carried with 7 votes.
The Highway Commissioner reported he was going to buy a scraper to haul behind the truck to be paid for from the equipment fund. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
