Annual Town Meeting April 14, 1970

Chas. Riemsnider was chosen Moderator and at 1:00 P.M. said Moderator called a meeting for the hearing on the proposed Road + Bridge budget. Moved by George Tindall + seconded by Walter Beydler that the Town accept same. Carried [by 7 ?] votes. Then the proposed Town budget was presented. Moved by Emmett Rand + seconded by George Latimer to accept same. Carried with 7 votes.

At 2:00 PM the Town Meeting was called to order. The Highway Commissioner’s report, the Supervisor’s report and the General Assistance report were all read and approved with 7 Yes votes. The Annual Town Tax levy was for $5000.00 with no General Assistance levy. Motion by Walter Beydler + Emmett Rand that this be accepted. There being no other business, meeting adjourned.

August 10, 1970

A meeting was held at the Town Hall at 1:30 PM. All auditors, Supervisor, Town Clerk and Highway Commissioner were present. Moved by Emmett Rand and seconded by George Latimer that bills in excess of $3000 incurred by the Highway Commissioner in resurfacing certain roads in the Township be accepted. Meeting adjourned.

Fall Auditing Meeting

All members present at the 7:30 meeting at the Town Hall. Highway Commissioner’s tax levy accepted. All bills presented were audited and paid. A used furnace for the Town Hall was discussed and allowed. Meeting adjourned.
