Special Auditing Meeting February 24, 1971

All members present at the 1:30 meeting at the Town Hall. Highway Commissioner Beydler asked for an increase in salary. Moved by Emmett Rand and seconded by George Latimer that said commissioner’s salary be raised from $3,000 per year to $4,950.00 per year. Carried. Highway Commissioner’s bills audited. George Tindall moved they be accepted, seconded by George Latimer.

Highway Commissioner was granted permission to post roads as he sees fit. Supervisor’s bills were audited. Moved by George Tindall and seconded by Emmett Rand that they be accepted. Adjourned.

Spring Auditing Meeting March 20, 1971

All members present at the 1:30 meeting at the Town Hall. Due to a change in law, it was decided to increase the Highway Commissioner’s salary to $5000 per annum. Road and bridge budget was discussed.

Bills presented were paid. Adjourned

Twp. Election April 6, 1971 - Walter Beydler received 41 votes for Highway Commissioner. No opposition.

Annual Town Meeting April 13, 1971

George Tindall was chosen as Moderator at the 2:00 PM meeting. General Assistance budget was presented. Walter Beydler moved it be accepted. Seconded by Geo. Latimer and carried.

Walter Beydler moved the Town Tax be $7000 for the coming year. Seconded by Emmett Rand. Carried. No General assistance tax. Reports of Supervisor + Highway Comm. read and approved. 6 voted in favor.
