Annual Town Meeting

Held at the Town Hall Town of South Grove, Illinois April 5th 1904.

Meeting called to order at two o’clock George M Tindall chosen Moderator.

Supervisor’s report read and approved

Commissioners report read and approved

Motion made that Two hundred Dollars ($200.00) be for Town purposes divided as follows $175.00 for payment of Town officers and $25.00 for Contingent and other legal expenses.

The following is the result of a canvass of the vote cast

M.McMurchy received Seventy three votes for Supervisor

J. A. Dooley received Eighty one votes for Town Clerk

J. T. Byers received Seventy-four votes for Assessor

James McKenzie received Seventy-four votes for Collector

J. J. Glawe received Fifty-three votes for Commissioner of Highways

Maurice Casey received Forty-six votes for Commissioner of Highways

Frank Worden received Seventy five votes for Trustee of Schools
