DeKalb Co. State of Ill 1850 Town of Orange road district No. one bounded east on Sycamore road by town line and the road running east from Wm. R. Thompsons north by town line west by town and country line south including Chicago and Grand Detour State road B. C. Needham, Overseer
DeKalb Co. State of Ill 1850 Town of Orange road district No. five commencing at the state road near Coltonville running on the west side of Union Grove southerly to where it intersects the road running from F. Loves to R. Huntleys also the road running east between H. Barber and John Whitemans east to the centre of the creek. Wm. Hubbard, Overseer
Orange June 13th 1850 Record of a road running on the west side of Union Grove the undersigned commissioners of highways for the town of Orange in the county of DeKalb on the application of Wm. Hubbard a person liable to the assessed for highway labor in said town, did on the third day of June inst, cause a survey to be made of the following route to wit: to commence in the centre of the road a few rods west of said Whitemans on the east side of the fence, from thence through the lane as it is now fenced out on Arunah Clarks land until it comes opposite his new house from thence to the state road running from Coltons to Broadheads Grove along the east side of Wm. Hubbards board fence from thence along the state road east until it comes to the road running from said Coltons to said Whitemans from thence on said road to the said Coltons house being the same route mentioned in the application of the said Wm. Hubbard which survey is as follows to wit: Commencing in the centre of said road opposite of the north east of said Whitemans house running thence north fifteen (15/deg west 182.R.20.E to Arunah Clarks thence north 27° east 106R thence north 63 east
