that a road four rods wide be located and laid out and the same is located and laid out according to said survey and the same is hereby declared to be a publick highway.

The undersigned commissioners of highways for the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb on the application of William Hubbard a person liable to be assessed for highway labor in said town did on the fourth day of January inst. cause a survey to be made of the following route to wit; Commencing two rods and two links east of George Flinns door yard fence east of the centre of said Flinns dwelling house thence northerly across a part of said George Flinns land crossing George Raynards and William Hubbards farms to a point on the Chicago and Gran Detour state road twenty six rods west of a point on said state road where the road running on the west side of Union Grove (nearest the timber) crosses it thence east twenty six rods being the same route mentioned in the application of the said William Hubbard which survey is as follows to wit; Commencing on the south line of George Flinns land where the road from John Whitemans as heretofore viewed by the road commissioner of the town of DeKalb and accepted by a board of supervisors of the county running N.271/2 E. 2GR.N.26E. 113R, 19 links to the state road thence east on said state toad 26 rods to the corner at Coltonville and the undersigned being of opinion that it is necessary and proper that such road be altered it is therefore ordered that a road four rods wide be located and laid out and the same is located and laid out according to said survey and the same is hereby declared to be publick highway and so much of the old road as lies between the commencement of said survey and the termination of the same is hereby declared to be vacated.
