Survey of a road on S14&23
Beginning on the north side of the street on the north side of the block 39 & 40 in the Village of DeKalb at a point intersecting the center of seventh street and running thence N21.35E V6 E6.47c to the EL of the NW ¼ of S 23 thence N V6 10E on said line 22.50 to the ¼ post on the NL of said S23, thence N V6 10’1 11.50c to Hopkins south line thence N3 40c to the centre of the Sycamore road total distance 43.87c forty three chains and eighty seven links

M. B. the above described a line in the center of the road.
To the commissioners of highway of the town of DeKalb in the county of DeKalb State of Illinois. The undersigned legal voters residing within three miles of the road hereafter mentioned and described hereby request you to alter so much of the road leading from Brush Point to DeKalb Centre as lies between a point in the centre of said road where it formerly turned easterly near Abial Richardsons barn and a point in the center thereof near the house of Wm. Hubbard it being the road recently located by supervisors Terry, Whitehead & Noble & to relocate the same as it formerly runs by from the aforesaid point near Abial Richardson barn & thence running easterly & thence southerly passing on the east side of the house of Calvin S. Colton till it shall intersect the state road leading from Sycamore to Grandetour thence south westerly to the other point aforesaid in said Bruch Point & DeKalb Centre road near the house of Wm. Hubbard passing the lands of said Richardson, H. H. Rowe, C. S. Colton & Wm. Hubbard it being the same road recently relocated by said supervisors Terry, Noble & Whitehead and to discontinue so much of said road herein described between the points aforesaid as was laid or located by said supervisors.
