On March 30, 1976, the Township Board met at the Town Hall at 7:30 PM. Present were Tindall, Latimer, Rand and E. McQueen. The Highway Commissioner’s budget for road and bridge purposes was presented and discussed. Moved by Rand and seconded by Latimer that the budget be accepted. Carried.

A letter of resignation from I. Wascher as auditor was presented. The other three auditors will be looking for a replacement.

Bills for January and February were audited. Meeting adjourned.

Annual Town Meeting

Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM by the clerk. Those present were Beydler, Tindall, Bross, E. McQueen, and Hugh McQueen. Hugh McQueen was chosen as Moderator. The various reports of the Supervisor were inspected. Moved by Tindall and seconded by Bross that they be paid. Meeting adjourned.

On May 31, 1976, the Township Board met at the Town Hall at 7:30 PM. Present were Bross, Beydler, E. McQueen, Tindall + Latimer. The Highway Commissioner felt that due to the lateness of the tax bills this year, the Road and Bridge Fund might run out of money for current bills. Moved by Geo. Tindall that the Supervisor have the authority to transfer money from available funds to the Road + Bridge Fund if the necessity arises, said amount to be transferred back by the end of the fiscal year. Motion seconded by Geo. Latimer. Carried.
