The Highway Commissioner announced that he had located a used motor grader for $24,000 and could finance it at Malta bank.
He also announced there was an alley in Clare that the people living on either side of wanted vacated. Moved by Geo. Latimer and seconded by Walter Beydler that the Township allow this provided those desiring this action will take care of all legal work, etc. so there will be no expense to the Township. Carried.
Moved by Geo. Latimer and seconded by Geo. Tindall that current bills be approved. Meeting adjourned.

On June 17th, the Town Board met at the Town Hall at 7:30 PM. Those present were Bross, E. McQueen, Beydler, Rand, and Latimer.★ Beydler announced that the used road grader had been purchased and financed at Malta Bank at 5% interest. The Town of Sycamore had offered $1790 for the old grader. Moved by Latimer and seconded by Rand that we accept the offer. Motion carried.★(Moved by Rand and seconded by Latimer that we purchase said grader. Motion carried.)
Moved by Rand and seconded by Latimer that current bills be approved. Meeting adjourned.

An auditing meeting was held July 15 at 7:30 PM at the Town Hall. The budget for 1976-77 was presented. Moved by G. Latimer and seconded by L. Rand that the budget be accepted. Motion carried. The amount of tax levy for the coming year will be $10,000 for General Town Fund and $1,000 for General Assistance.
Moved by Rand and seconded by Latimer that current bills be approved. Adjourned.
